Entrance to Zion National Park

The winds picked up very strong as we flew past Paria Canyon.  We were flighting a 30mph headwind.   We tried dropping down low and when we got down to 50ft AGL, the winds dropped down to about 5mph.  We stayed low all the way to Zion Canyon.   We had originaly planned to climb high and overfly Zion, but the 30mph winds above us dissauded us from this path.  We stayed low and entered a wide North/South valley with I-15 going right up the middle.   The winds shifted around and suddenly we had a 30mph tailwind which we rode all the way to Milford.
