Testimonial of doing business with Larry Mednick of Evolution Aircraft and review of Rival S wing
Howdy Larry, It was great to have you come visit us here at the Eagles Nest the last 4 days. I just wanted to send you a huge thanks for taking time to come all the way out from Florida to our place in the SE corner of WA state during your busy season. It was a huge effort on your part to fully install my new trainer package on my new Burnt Orange Revo. I think most importantly is the fact that you went over my new Rival S wing with me from top to bottom, teaching me the easiest and quickest way to set up the rival S on the Revo base, then teaching me the correct tuning methods used on this great little wing to make it fly the way I love a wing to fly. The first test flights were in big midday thermals and I must say this baby flew through the bumps with little to no effort. I was used to a much stiffer strut braced wing, so I was over controlling a bit. Once Larry noted my over controlling moves and gorilla grip on the bar in the biggest of thermals he showed me how he personally flies this baby. He made me use my last three finger tips on each hand to control the roll and pitch movements. I had my thumbs up off the bar, then hung the weight off my arms down like dead weight off the control bar. Wow, this was a completely new style of flying a trike wing and it felt quite strange at first. Within a short time I got a better feel for this new finger tip flying style. It was really quite amazing, I could squeeze my right three fingers and do a nice smooth effortlessly easy turn to the right, then squeeze my left three fingers and do a perfect smooth roll to the left. Then as you get hit by a big midday thermal you just lock in your left and right fingers on the bar keeping your elbows hanging like dead wt. off the control bar, quite to my surprise the wing sliced nicely through the big thermals. This new type of finger handling the wing will take a bit to get used to as I have always needed large roll movements in the nastiest of thermal over this last 20 plus years of trike flying. I am truly over excited to have a wing like the Rival S as it will surely improve my comfort level on long mid-day, mid-summer cross country flights around the western USA. So thanks much for teaching a old dog new tricks. Then you really had fun with me as you played a really bad flying student as I did a bunch of touch and go landings from the rear seat with my newly installed duel steering package on my Revo. The easy to get to rear throttle, smooth rear foot pedals and light handing wing, made flying from the rear seat quite nice and easy, even in building thermal conditions. After your 4 day visit here I now have a much better feel for the Rival S wing and more knowledge of the trike base and the inner workings of my Revo. This trike has all true aircraft components with easy access to most all of them. I got to say Larry, your consumer service was above all my expectations and you went far beyond what I am used to in the aviation world. Also a big thanks for making sure I was quickly & easily transitioned so I could start teaching the first of the week with new students. When you have a Trike and wing package like my new Revo / Rival S , it basically sells its self. So over the next 10 to 20 years I know we will sell lots and lots of new Revo units together. Thanks again for being a close bro and fly safe. I cant wait to get back out there and fly that new rival S wing, I really feel like a kid a Christmas.

Wow, Scott that was a great testimonial!  Glad to hear your really getting comfortable with the Revo/Rival S.  Hey, and I look forward to catching up with you again at Polson.  I met you a few years ago at Fun & Sun when Russ Duncan made the trip over introducing the T-Lite.  You might not remember but we chatted for a while and I really enjoyed the conversation.  Take care.  ULt
