Alltrikes

At this point the valley forked in three directions.  Which one to follow now?  We took the one that wrapped around to the right. 

We flew a few miles further, until it narrowed so that we could not turn around ahead.   It was becoming rough up here and since we really didn’t know where we were heading, we backed off and retreated back to Rio Grande Reservoir.   Had we continued over the last ridge, we would have dropped down into Castle Lakes where we had flown before.  Maybe next year.
