I think they can be rebuilt. Are there any marks on it as to who the manufacturer is (I know it's an AC part, but they purchased from somewhere)- even if there's just some serial numbers, often you can type that into Google and get the name of the company that builds them. Many times these are the same part from a motorcycle, etc,then you can just order direct from them, or find out who rebuilds them.

Thanks XC Triker there are no marks on it, I will see how to fix this, hopefully I will be back in the air in a short while.
