Great compilation! The scenery was spectacular! Have to get all your flying fun in during the light season. Thanks Garrett!

    Thanks.

And Dean I will be heading to Florida then Colombia to fly hang gliders instead of my usual winter flying this year so I guess we are both down on the intestinal fortitude.

Fantastic video Garrett.  Man you have some incredible terrain and scenery to see by air.  Yes, I am not sure I could handle the cold that appears in some of your video.  Really like the wasp and you home made nano with skiis.  How well do you think that wasp would do with a WW Sport 2 175 for a pilot of about 165 to 170 lbs?  All I have is the S2 155 but thinking if I pursue the Wasp I probably would have more success and be safer to upgrade to the 175.  Yes I know more running would be required than a larger Falcon but....

I am close to your weight and I would favor the sport 2 155. The 175 always felt very stiff to me. I have flown them both FLPHG (I am the WillsWing Dealer for Alaska). I would give it a try before buying another glider. I usually fly mine with a falcon 3 170.

Well I do not currently own a Wasp but have been thinking about it.  The one with Vittorazi engine would be more appealing to me. The Wasp website lists harness with chute as 37kg or about 81.5 lbs and that does not include fuel.  The max hook-in wt for S2 155 is 250 so I would be a bit over that whereas the 175 max is 320 and me plus harness would likely put me smack dab in the middle of the Optimum body wt range for the 175. So this consideration plus fact that I am not a super fast runner led me to think 175 would be better choice for me.  Yes I am sure it would be a bit stiffer in handling though. https://www.willswing.com/hang-gliders/sport-2/

Joe you would run a little faster if you would give up ......?   How come no one naggs you the way they nagged me? I had to quit just to stop the dam nagging!  You know garrett took the young guy pill. I remember when me and you made that run look easy. I too like the wasp with the vittorossi engine. Garrett just makes everything look easy.

The vitorazzi makes a big difference. Radne is fine for me though.

The Sport 2 155 flies VERY well at max gross but I understand your points on the 175. If slower run is your concern I wonder if you have consitered the Falcon 195? Do you have a place with a nice downslope to make run easier?
