Wow. I got nervous just watching it, especially when he took off over your head again. I don't know how you and other CFIs do this on a daily basis. You really need to be patient and stay cool. As a new student you're pumped with adrenaline and excitement, not fully realizing the stuff that can go wrong. Although, yes, he had good control and it was a beautiful landing.
Ps. Reb, did you tell him about "the three things that are useless to you as a pilot"? You tought me on my exam and I still remember. I think Rob would benefit as well :-)

or maybe he likes low and slow flying... :) sometime it seems to me very low... but however the landing was reeeeaaaallyyyy beautiful
