Howdy Leo! You coming to the Lake Chelan Fly-in later in July? Should be an absolutely stunning area to fly around in (if the weather holds)!
I was wondering how many comments would go by before someone asked me that! I guess on this website, the answer is ..... 1!!! :D
That light is my EIS (Engine Info Sys) Master Caution light. I also have it programed to go off every hour while I fly as a reminder to check fuel and scan vitals. Well, that was hour 2 of this flight and it went off right at the start of that scene.
Jozinko - those little 'mounds' are call 'Mima' Mounds. They have formed naturally over recent times in areas swept clean by the Ice Age Floods and are very numerous in our region.
Now your going to ask - what the heck are the Ice Age Floods? Well that .... is an amazing story of what occured here in Eastern Washington about 14 to 28 thousand years ago. Hugefloods.com will help start to answer that question.
Tom good to see another great video buddy, loved the intermission but that got me hoping to see the warner brothers bugs bunny at the end? Btw do you know that everytime you go flying i see large herds of elk and deer fleeing for there lives over lookout pass. And that lookout tower you seem to love to buzz alot. Theres some guy in there with coffee all over his shirt saying ( i hate that guy)

Great video Tom! Hey, what's the flashing red light on your instrument panel @ 1:50 mark?

Great video Tom!!! I love low flight you showed. What are the small hills @ 1:19-1:30 before the lake?
That's a really good idea Tom. Good way of making sure you don't accidently forget to glance at it.
Unfortunately I can't make Chelan. We're super busy at work, and won't be able to take the time off. :(
Lookign forward to coming up some day though. It's gorgeous up there! It's on my list.
