Cruise to me means hands off trim speeds. I was wondering if any Maverick wing owners out there get a 55 mph trim/cruise? Best I ever saw with a 503 Maverick is close to 50 mph and the NorthWing website list usable speed as 33-50,, and trim/cruise speeds 40-45. Where did the Rev pick up 10 mph in cruise from? It looks to have more drag than a Maverick trike? Less hp than my 503, is this a new airfoil? Did it also gain 10 mph in top end speed?
I would bet many Maverick wing owners would like to know the secret? Thanks

Wang not sure but maybe the wieght of the simonini /polini engine.    So its a good question?

Wang 1, The wing is slightly different. The Rev's hands off cruise speed is 43 mph and will hold 55 straight and level with almost full power without pitching up.

Thought maybe a newer rib pattern, I have one for the double surface NW's that is suppose to add 5 mph.
I re-trued the battens to the new airfoil on both the Pacer and Contour but still in build mode and have yet
to fly them and see? Almost full power and bar buried doesn't sound like a cruise speed, 43 sounds right.
Extended high power in a Maverick wing will put me on the ground in around an hour with some sore arms,
@ 43 I can do 2 hrs and no muscle fatigue.
