Cool Vid. But I'm confused I thought a base jump was from a stationary place, like a cliff or building, as in not an aircraft? Can any one clarify for a non jumper guy?
Doug, good question. It was low altitude (1200 agl), he had 1 chute only and it was one of those quick opening styles they use in base jumping. I think you could call it either. For me, I would say low altitutde and 1 quick opening chute only that was designed for "base" jumping would for me be a base-ish jump. This one here was at around 100 feet -->
