On Jan 14th, we arrived at Havasu for the Balloon festival. After the days evening flight, we got the news that out 15 year old little Boston, "Penny" passed away at home in the arms of our daughter Kelly. Too old and fragile, we were forced to leave her at home.
Over her lifetime, she shared with us many life experiences and accompanied us on many trips. She was with us on every outing while I flew and practiced for my Light Sport Pilots license, and was right there along our side when I passed my Oral and practical check ride.
She changed my life for ever, teaching me more than any other human has ever been capable of. Her patient, loving demeanor taught me how to love and forgive. She will forever be missed.
