Thank you Dave, glad you notice all the random bits and pieces. I go through a lot of raw video to find all the fun bits and pieces!
I'm having fun getting into teaching and getting lots of experience. I had a student with a 582 come out for training and on our first lesson we flew out into a valley for some turning work when the engine conked and coughed. I brought it down from the back seat into a field without any issues. I removed the float bowls from a Carb and it was full of dirt. The student had replaced all fuel lines/filters and primer bulb after buying it but the Carbs were extremely dirty. Good lessons for me to be more vigilant of student equipment. Once the Carbs were pulled apart and cleaned it's been running fine now.
Damian thanks man i just spent 2 days flying at tarkio ranch. Had a bunch of awesome flights including a final flight with a full moon.Came home and saw your well put together vid promoting are great sport and kameron at north wing. Big thanks
Great to see you out spreading the trike love Damien. The world thanks you. Heard about your engine out, nice job bringing that in! Hope we can share the sky again someday soon :)
Great video compilation Damien. I love your videos, because you are commenting all about. And I understood you all here :)) Some friends we met face to face in OZ and they know it wasnt easy with me about understanding. Thanks for sharing.
Damien, I was waiting for your video for a while. Thanks again for a great video. I like the simplicity of your videos. Just using two cameras you deliver very engaging videos. Love the idea of your "Gasolina" perfume. When it is in the market, let me know so I can buy it for my trike buddies :D
Garrett Speeter -> In regards to the HKS , it's a rock solid smooth quiet fuel effecient engine. I love it. My only down point is its more comparable to a strong 503 than a 582. My local field is at 5,834 MSL so I definetly notice the altitude taking 2 up and need to be careful with the extra weight. 10 more HP and it would be perfect.
Ken Nussear / All (Not sure where to post this) but I'm selling my RV . It's the one I've been using the last 5+ years dragging my trike around the place. Reason to sell is I moved to a HOA area now and no RV's can be parked there. It's been my only vehicle for many years, and it's not worth having 2 vehicles. I'm driving around now in a 1995 toyota 4runner with 210,000 miles on it! A buddy of mine said put new tires on it, give it an oil change and you can use it for 6 months. If the RV sells through this forum, I'll donate $50 to the website.
OK Thanks Damien, hope she goes through. Otherwise we can post it in the marketplace here. Its a great van guys and it already knows where all of the good flying places are! Cant go wrong.
Question) Does anyone know a Trike CFI in Houston, Texas ? I have a friend down there interested in a trial lesson. He is big on his Motorcycles but likes watching the videos and is inspired to give it a ride at least ? Email me their Contact Info if you can. damber306@hotmail.com
