Ice Age Floods in the Pacific Northwest - a 40 min presentation

By Ttabs Comments (8)

I completed this project a few months ago. I am doing presentations around the Pacific Northwest on the Ice Age Floods - as seen from my TRIKE! I'm attracting audiences of several hundred people per talk who come to learn more about the great floods of our region - but I smack them pretty good with Trike flying too! Not sure which they find more interesting but the feedback has been very positive.

Just an idea for you all to consider in your travels - GEOLOGY! I may try to get in touch with charity groups - perhaps Make A Wish - to do fundraisers for them. Maybe we can score an IMAX theater to show stuff like this. Hmmmmm......

Anyway - follow the links at the end of each video for the next part. At the end of the 3rd vid, I annotate links to other stuff if your interested. Hope you enjoy it!

hi tom   bravo bravo bravo    thanks for showing my home range turf. ITs just so hard to incompass just how big these events were. I ride my horses to the top of these peaks all the time and you cant imagine counting all the ancient shoreline marks going up to 9 thousand feet .many times you can find fossils of shells up there. ive stood up there imagining what it must have looked like seeing all that go at once.

    Hi Ttabs,

Great concept incorporating Geological history and the trike perspective.  It makes you re think the history of the terrain you fly over without a second thought.  This is obviously a project you have sunk considerable time and passion into.  I really enjoyed it all.  To use the good old Ausie vernacular..."Bloody Well done Mate."

Hi Ttabs, Yes you have done it again. Anne and I just love this movie and the others. Thanks again.

  • Trike Ops

Loved it!  Unrestricted visibility from a trike, can't get any better than that and well narrated. Thanks Ttabs.

    Regards,
