Barren looking country Rick. Where exactly is the Valley of Fire? Looks like somewhere near Broken Hill in Australia but I am sure there are other barren places on the planet!

  • Christopher

    Magnificent Landscape and cool soundtrack!

  • Dan Beattie

    Nice vid. Good job.

  • Rick D

I thank all of you for your kind comments.

Dean, I just use a GoPro handlebar mount attached to the washout strut.

Toucan, the Valley of Fire is a state park in southern Nevada. Pretty amazing area, one of the more interesting flights in my very short time as a trike pilot.

  • RizzyWizzy

Rick D, awesome flight, great location and wonderful camera work...I have said this before, I absolutely love your trike...a bare bone trike with tundra tires, what more could you ask for. My trike is the same as yours but it has an HKS 700e motor.

Great video! Went crazy right at the end eh?

  • av8or

Rick, classic soundtrack and masterful vision. A great master class for all those would be video producers out there.  It demonstrates that the cut or fade are an editors best tools. Just cos your editing package has all those fancy effects doesn't mean you have to click on them. All those stars, hearts, sparkles , swirls    should be saved for your wedding video. We'll done

  • Rick D

Thanks again everyone for your great comments!

Hey White Eagle I am with you on the electrodes, IV, and glasses. Just add a high speed fan and we are there!

I agree with you av8or, sometimes less is more. Appreciate the compliments!

Yeah Ken, like someone said in a recent post, ground skimming is very addictive. The coyotes and cows wish it weren't so.

This is an excellent video Rick!  That Valley of Fire presents an extremely rugged landscape to fly over.  Although I have been to lake Mead and explored by jetski, it really is neat to see the surrounding scenery and lake frontage from the air.  Also you happened to couple all this great scenery with 2 of my favorite bands, Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin.  W.E. yes I hope we can have a bit of Pink Floyd at Polson.  Rick I look forward to meeting you and the many other trike pilots at Polson.  Your video gets a big 2 thumbs up from me!

  • Rick D

Thanks ULtrikepilot. Looking forward to putting faces to the names at Polson. I bet there will be some great memories made.

  • Jozinko

Beautiful video. I love your low flight around those wild rocks. Awesome

  • Rick D

Thanks Jozinko, it was indeed wild.
