In May, Paul and I flew to MeOwn Airstrip (1NM0) for an over-nighter. It's a forest service fire base strip that you can get permission to land on if you call the fire dispatcher first. The next morning we took a cruise down a small canyon in the Gila National Forest just outside the wilderness area. It was a very smooth cruise. We felt the thermals a few hours later crossing the Plains of San Agustin on our way back to Belen.

Next amazing video Jeff! Beautiful country and really nice low flight. I study your flight. In my opinion, your control bar is too far in front. I saw, few times, you pulled Cbar for a decreasing your speed. If you can, you can to move your center of gravity about 1cm in front... And your average speed will be a little higher and control bar will be in a native position. Or, am I wrong?
Another spot on video Jeff. Such beautiful country to fly over. Thanks for shearing this one............
Great video Jeff! That sure is beautiful back country.
Hello Jeff,
Really enjoyed the video. Great looking country, looked rugged. Conditions appeared to be perfect triking with minimal turbulence. Well done. Would like to see some pics of the forest service strip you based yourself out of.
Jozinko,
My wing is a Air Creation Nuvix which has the corset system that adjust the flying characteristics of the wing. On this flight, I had the corset all the way loose which lowers the trim airspeed of the wing, which shifts the trim control bar position out towards the nose tube. When I have the corset set to the medium setting, the control bar trim position shifts back by several inches, to a more normal position.

Noel C, I uploaded a pict of meown to alltrikes.
I'm surprised to hear that the corset system affects bar position, I thought that was one of the main differences between the trim systems that move the hang point fore and aft.
Thank you Jeff for explanation. But Im surprised as Ken is. I flew to two Bionix wings and I didnt see different control bar posistion.
