Thanks my friends, apparently the pilot lost control of the aircraft while landing...I am not sure if that is what happened but that is what someone from the airport told me.
Hey Riz, you are a good reporter. You should do more of these (well not wishing more accidents, just that you cover them). Were you there when it happened? Did you interview any witnesses? I think, as a reporter, that if no witnesses consent to being interviewed on tape (by a hairy wild looking man of possibly middle eastern descent moving excitedly around the wreckage of an airplane at an unlocked airport), that you are OK to speculate that this looks like a non-fatality crash.
XC triker, you are funny...I had actually gone to the airport to mount my new (Drift) camera on the trike and saw this aircraft sitting in the field so I had to go and investigate....today I went back in the morning to mount a Lynx antenna to my trike (I will post a pic soon) and spoke with the local mechanic & he told me about it. It is unfortunate, the mechanic said the airplane is totaled and it would be cheaper for the owner to get another plane then to get this one repaired :(
