GoPro 6 Black & 3+ Black Comparison in High Frequency Vibaration Environment
NOTICE: To see the real difference, you have to watch it on a PC or TV. Advanced stabilization function on GoPro 6 is pretty amazing. I had been looking for a solution for removing vibration from my cameras in the last several years. None of small form camera had successed so far. Especially, it was very difficult to remove high frequency vibration. GoPro 6 surprisingly removes most of high frequency vibration generated by engine and prop. I would highly recommend to use GoPro 6 on any airplane or in an environment with high frequency vibration. By the way, GoPro 5 Black and GoPro Hero (2018) doesn't have Advanced Stabilization function.
Testing environment: Each footage for the cameras were captured on the different day. Therefore, it is not exactly "apple to apple" comparison especially in the air. I had more turbulence when I tested GoPro 6. I installed cameras at the nose of my trike fuselage. I chose the location because it is one of the most affected spots by the vibration generated by the engine and the prop.

Now the 7 is out and it’s supposed to be even more stable than the 6. I haven’t even got a chance to put the 6 on the trike yet.

That's right. They call it Hypersmooth Stabilizasion in 7. I have aready order few of them at Amazon. They are getting pre-order and will start shipping October 1st.
