A late afternoon flight. I thought I would go and check out the burn-off generating all the pollutive smoke on Big Woody Island in the Great Sandy Straits.
I guess it's important to mention that no one lives here and this Island is a National Park.
A lot of burning off (and an unplanned grass fire) create skies currently full of smoke, and poor visibility. It was a good test for aircraft CTAF intercommunications and situational awareness.
