- Winds were calm this morning and we headed straight up the Rio Puerco Valley with few scenic detours. We took a look at the mud water fall, flowing nicely from the summer rains. We continued due north for Pagosa Springs.

- It wasn’t too bad initially. We headed towards Jicarilla Airport and the north/south valley that ends near Albuquerque starts there. I had the corset all the way in and was doing 65-70 mph ground speed.
