    We were up early, but it was rainy to the east.  So we headed west for Chimney Rock, then made a wide loop to the south to reach the San Juan river then started to follow it upstream.

  • Pagosa Peak

    The descent from Pagosa Peak was a blast.  I tightened the corset on my Nuvix Wing all the way pulled in on the bar, reaching 90mph and descending from 13,999 ft to 9000 ft in 6 minutes.

  • Weminuche Pass

    We flew out to the edge of Rio Grande Reservoir and circled, waiting for Chris to join us.  Chris had never explored this area before and I was eager to check it out again.  Our formation of trikes turned to fly up to Weminuche Pass.

  • Twin Falls

    Far below, on the southern base of Pagosa Peak I saw two impressive waterfalls.  I wish I had spiraled down to get a closer look at them, but I wanted to make my ritual pass over the summit of Pagosa Peak as I have done for many years in a row.

  • Blanco Basin
