First settlement in Nevada, Genoa at the base of the Sierra Nevadas- Far below, on the southern base of Pagosa Peak I saw two impressive waterfalls. I wish I had spiraled down to get a closer look at them, but I wanted to make my ritual pass over the summit of Pagosa Peak as I have done for many years in a row.
