On the right - Brian 26 years old flying his Red Airborne Outback. On the Left is Justin, 23 years old learning in the Blue Airborne XT. Good to see the young fellows flying !!!!!
Yup ken i went skiing for the first time in 10 years the other day. Now i used to be a pretty good skier! Going down a double black dimond slope just about the time my mind said wow i can still ski pretty good my body decided to cart wheel end over end for about 150 ft to the bottom. But mind over matter i guess your right i had to get up no matter how much it hurt. But i guess thats one of the beautiful things about flying if you still have wits and can hold a bar the skys the limit. I plan to fly as long as i can still get into the seat. Still great to see young people getting into this great sport!
Thanks for the feedback all, I soloed at 26, but should have Solo'ed at 16 if I had the opportunity ! I know it takes a lot of Instructor dedication and support to keep them on track. Brian almost fell off the band wagon and had his trike up for sale on Barnstormers, but after talking to a potential buyer who was an airline pilot he told him, of all the things he flies, the trike is by far the most enjoyable and he should stick with it. Even if I don't have a scheduled flight on I try and go out and fly for fun with them, get lots of photos, keep them inspired and on track.

I'm glad you are recruiting these guys into the sport @Damien. Sometimes I wonder if its priced out such that only old dudes can afford it these days.
Ken did you just call me an old dude. Hmmm put up your dukes mano uh uh thats right your a black belt. Its all cool man
Damien, that is phenomenal. You have inspired many, including myself. Keep up the good work :D
Ken, it would appear so.
Well @wambleska I'm going to guess you are about double their age. I know I am... Is that old?? My answer - only the body, not the mind.
