Harbor Freight Trailer around $480

A student wanted a trailer for their trike and we put this together. I've used the same 1720lb Harbor Freight trailer for over 12 years to tow my trike along with various of other student trikes many thousands of miles and it's still going strong.

It's a very good light weight and affordable solution. For me light weight is the key as it can be towed by most vehicles.

You can add on some Harbor Freight ramps for the back wheels (and use a piece of 6 by 2 wood for the front wheel ramp) along with a hand winch , something that has mad me completely self sufficient to travel with my trike

    Enjoy,

I'll second that suggestion Damien. I've been using a similar design for my trikes and motorcycles as well. Mine folds in half, then stands on it's end. I store it in the back of my hangar when not needed. Really good solution for a plan "B" but obviously not weather friendly.

I did that with a Home Depot trailer some years ago and ended up adding 20" to the tongue to keep the tail from wagging the dog. Just make certain most of the load on the trailer is forward of the axel.
