Yesterday afternoon we kept hoping the winds would ease off so we could fly up to Ibex and camp.   If the winds were still strong out of the the south, we figured we could always camp on the lee side of the island that rised out of the salt bed at Ibex. 

This would not have worked out very well.  The lee side campsite had a inch of salt water over it.
