Check out the photos in this album if you want to know what the Fly-In at Polson late this summer will be like. The majority of these photos were taken there. Like this spectacular one-- all the little springs, the meandering rivers, Glacier (about 90 minutes flight north), flatHead lake, etc..
Polson is a nice airport wide and long with clear approaches either side, much more pilot friendly than elk river is (narrow, mountainous tree-lined runway-- not the ER isn't fun ...)
