Maverick Test Drive.

By Garrett Speeter

Helping a new pilot set up his brand new NW Maverik trike. Had to get CG all squaired away and a multitude of other details (install bush acceptable front suspension, prop pitch, locktite all engine bolts, beef up rear landing gear for real flying).

Loved the little kawasaki engine. Just wish it had a gear box not a belt drive. Belt redrive is a source of aggrivation at the moment.

Very nice Garrett. Gee those are huge tundra tires but I suppose they are best choice up there. What kind of front fork is that? Looks like quite a bit of shock absorption. Love the lime green wing color.

home made forks that have 6" of suspension travel. Bases on suspension from ATC 200x.

You can run over 6" diameter logs with them easily. Handle bumps well at speed. Dampened. Tracks strait and true 10mph above lift off speed.

Sane landing gear that you can actually land with if you want to go fishing or land in bush.

Woe! An offroad Maverick. Very cool mods to the suspension. Respect! My GTE is asking why I'm staring at her....

Hey Garrett, can we get some closer shots and some more details of the mods you did for that landing gear. Really nice job man!
