Jim Waters

By Leo
Since I've embarked on this journey to become a Trike Pilot, I've met some of the most wonderful people I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
Jim Waters is among them. A man who was passionate about flight, and was the essence of life to be around. There are people who posses such a beautiful charisma, that when ever you're with them, life is just better.
Jim was one of these people....I just wish I had met him earlier in life, but I am thankful and privileged to have know him nonetheless.
Rest in peace my friend, till we meet again. God bless.

Jim was a true inspiration. I cherish the flights and the time I got to spend with him. His spirit lives within all of us who share a true love of flight. Godspeed Jim, thanks for sharing your passion with us.

I didn't know him, seems like he was filled with adventurous spirit. May he rest in peace and my condolences to his family and friends.

What! Jim passed away? I had not heard. My heart is so heavy hearing this...Jim was indeed a man whom I respected and liked being around. Will never forget the time he landed at the dry lake to be with Lauren's girlfriend and my wife while we went to get Lauren's trailer after having fuel regulator issues. Jim stayed too long and almost had to land back at the airport in the dark. A big hearted man! Will be greatly missed!!!

I know what you guys mean. At Santa Paula we had such a good time with him. During dinner Leo was egging him on to sing, and he broke out with some little tune that had us laughing. He sat next to me, and had me laughing the entire time, sharing a couple of beers together, and just made me feel happy to be around him. I will never forget that night with many of you.

He treated Marta with love and respect like many of you whom have met her, and to me, for knowing most of you including Jim for such a small amount of time, just made that so much more special.

I'm going to miss him very much. Very bummed.

I do remembered him, I was with him while others were in the air.   He was a great company to be with.   He had a lot of knowledges on aviation.  R.I.P.
