New Orca Wing Day for BMW

By Yoshiyah Hawkins

These photos show the super easy set up result of the Gibbo Orca 12 from Mark Gibson. It was just about effortless to get this unfamiliar wing set up and on the trike.

No flying on this day for weather.

Two other trikes are in the hanger. A North Wing with a 13 double surface on it and a really cool Aprilla which I am totally impressed with. It is like the four wheel drive of the sky. I keep expecting to see Jerry Cans hanging off each side. It has a real look of an outback workhorse.

The North Wing is a super Tundra like buggy. You can see it is not finished but it is also not far from being do. It has a heavy duty front end fork and an really nice storage area behind the seat. Both trikes have ballistic chutes. I"m riding naked.

The Gibbo is short. That's the first thing everyone says that sees it. All the pieces of this workmanship are super heavy duty everything. It does weigh 120 lbs but that is because the materials are thick. That includes all the tubing being extra thick and the sail is a real heavy duty material. Both leading and trailing edges have heavy duty material built on those edges on the already heavy duty sail cloth. The control bar has the interior safety cable running through it. And the wing designs to fold back for storage on the trike.
