Flew to Prince Albert with my buddy Noël Perrier on Sunday morning early and planned to be back for church. Well, we had such turbulence when wanting to return that we stayed in Prince Albert for the day and only flew back this morning. We took off at exactly 05h30 - in the dark , watched the sun come up at 05h56 as we crossed the Swartberg Mountain range at an altitude of 12 000 feet - We had a magic flight back to Knysna in 1 hr and 10 minutes. Knysna and the Reenendal Airfield were completely fogged over- we had to circle above the airfield for 10 minutes looking for a gap to get through to land. Wonderful to be back Safely - God is Good ! Flying the Southern Cape is such an awesome experience - thx my darling wife Anne-Marie Van Zyl for being so patient and spending the day alone at home while I was out flying. I missed you but we know that when it comes to flying..."When in Doubt, There is NO Doubt! " rather safe than sorry. Noël Perrier my wingman - Thank you....You are so Beautiful to me! - Joe Cocker
