Kagga Kamma trip

Myself and Noël Perrier had a 750 mile flying weekend to Kagga Kamma private Game Lodge in the Cederberg Mountains of South Africa - the journey took us over the beautiful Tsitsikamma mountain range of the Southern Cape from where we continued in a North North Westerly direction over the Kamanassi and Swart berg Mountains into the heart of the Karoo and over the desolate Tankwa Karoo to Kagga Kamma with its beautiful sandstone rock formations and unpoluted air and big skies.
My son is a Game Ranch Manager and we spent the Saturday morning and late afternoon doing a game count in the fenced in area of approximately 85 square kilometres.
They have a glorious gravel runway of approximately 1 500 meters long and the field is at an elevation of 3 450 feet ASL.
Perfect weather was enjoyed and we are looking forward to our next XC trip.
