Sun N Fun or Oshkosh or just the Flyins?
Hi all,
I live in Boise, ID and have never been to Sun N Fun or Oshkosh and was wondering for someone who has prime interest in Sports/Recreational flying which event (Sun N Fun or Oshkosh) is better.
I might visit one of these events this year and was wondering if anyone could give me some tips about their experience to either of the events and what did they like, what were some of the challenges of either of the event.
Or, is it just better to attend the local flyins?

I haven't been to OshKosh (on the bucked list though), but I have been to Sun -n -Fun and I can tell you that it is just fantastic. They had planes to drool over all over the place, Trikes galore in the light sport/ultralight area, tons of cool gear from every manufacturer you can think of, air shows happening all day long, food! airplanes! trikes! gyros! great weather! Local fly-ins are also great and you won't meet nicer people, you should attend one sometime! In the end they are all great activities!!... why limit yourself?

This is very helpful. Lately I have also been interested to at least learn about powered paragliding too so it might be fun to attend Sun N Fun to meet people involved in that as well.
