Good morning all!

I'd heard rumor of a fly-in at Lake Havasu in January to coincide with the balloon festival and fair.

The "6th Annual Havasu Balloon Festival & Fair" is January 15th-17th.  Anyone going?

Thanks Dean and Reb! Barring blizzard here or monsoon or crappy weather there, I'll arrive the afternoon of the 12th. If you can start thinking of camping/RV parking suggestions, hanger solutions for visiting pilots etc... I'd appreciate it.

hey chris usually joe and dave 2 local guys will have hanger room.havsu state park may have some spaces at the lake at London bridge road. but you can always stay in the oversize boat trailer parking lot nice beach and its first come but no services as long as you have a gen set or solar youd be ok.

Hi Dean! If you could forward Joe and Dave's number so I can make contact, that would be great. Also, it appears because of the balloon festival and Havasu in general, RV park spots are hard to come by. If you're aware of any friends down there that have room to park a 41' 5th wheel and would allow me to plug in to run TV and such, I'd be happy to pay them the going rate for the space.

Part of the fun of traveling to a different area to fly is socializing with other trike pilots... There's a few I've spoken to who are interested in flying Lake Havasu around these dates.

The Lake Havasu airport appears to have a lot of space. Could one of the local pilots liase with the airport manager and see if those travelers with aircraft could camp/RV on the airport property around say January 13-18?
