Here is SkyVector showing some flying I have completed as of and including CrossCountry NAVs endorsement in March 2014.
I have a flight planned to investigate a Crocodile that we shouldn't have in our area.
TWO new sightings of the elusive Mary River crocodile have been reported in the past week in the waters off Beaver Rock, near Maryborough.

This got me to thinking. What plans have you got to go for a fly? Inspire us with your ideas, be they long or short trips. What type of flying do you enjoy?

Mate you know how high our crocks come out of the water hey! I look forward to seeing some low and slow footage. Have you sourced me a hanger yet :)
Jagsy,
I bought the 10acres of land - but this weather has turned so building of the hanger is at a standstill.
Hangerage for you is $50k per annum. ;-)
That sounds like a fun flight you have planned! We are planning on expanding our radio tracking of animals and field site photography this year with full spectrum cameras to capture vegetation growth.
There was a whale lost up a river with her calf we saw two summers ago- it was very neat to have seen that, but sad as she ultimately died. Her calf probably did ok though.
On the horizon for flying this year is Salton Sea, California Valley & Elk River Fly-ins, & we're looking in to towing up to Alaska for a couple flights. I think that is maxed out for me!!! ;)
Watch out for that croc!! (Don't let "the mission" suck you in either) and I hear you have Great Whites that fly into the air also !!!!
XC, my instructor didn't warn me about the Great Whites - oh no! Next there will be flying snakes ahhhhhhh!!!
I have an ambitious plan to fly 270NM inland in June for a private event. I need Passenger and XC endorsements to do this, but to me it looks do-able. So in the mean time I will get things organised with this goal in mind.
I have achieved the flood sight seeing tour and a video has been posted. Just waiting to reassemble the trike after effecting repairs to the fork carrier as recommended by airborne - but lack of natural gas to complete repairs due to our recent floods has kept me grounded. I have heard the gas maybe connected on Monday - and then I may have my parts back on Thursday... fingers crossed.
Next flight - not yet decided, but depending on the weather and water clarity - Fraser Island east coast sounds good.
What the natural gas for? I can see Argon and a gasoline drive TIG machine.
cburg, the gas is for the Powder Coaters to make his newly welded fork carrier all purdy...
Thanks Daza. I found out this morning that next Thursday might be the day I can collect the pieces to put the trike together again. As long as it doesn't become a Humpty Dumpty!
Main supply of gas may be (MAYBE!) connected on Monday. But in the meantime the powder coaters are using a small cooker with gas bottles recently rigged up.
Gas update: Now saying Wednesday due to rain (didn't want to get wet working in the rain) - yes more RAIN! Potential flooding again this week?! Here is a video of the upcoming weather event:
And if the gas company continues with this attitude - there will be no gas until next week because it is likey to rain all week.
Not good for flying anyway - so no rush for me - but all the businesses (restaurants and industrial etc), and residential without gas will be suffering more and more by the day. It's getting close to a month since the gas went off).
ps: The powder coater has set up and using a gas bottle system and is slowly producing and completing work, so I might have my stuff later this week.
