Are you entertained? do you learn anything? do some of the articles inspire you? Is it just a place to hang out and chat with like minded people, perhaps get a laugh or two?

If you get anything at all from Alltrikes..........consider this a challenge.........a one time donation of $10 or higher if your feeling flush to make it easier to run the site for Admin and defray some of the costs involved.    whaddya say?......I'm in.

well dave i think i get all of the above from at. i think that it is accomplishing its goals as a friendly informitive site unbiased for all of us. and i would be happy to donate to its suceess i think its a good idea. maybe some funs could be stored to host an alltrikes member annual fly in that would be cool?

  • Jozinko

Yes, you told all about, I think. It is very surprised for me. We are not a trikers only. We are a comunity, a family. Flying family. If anybody has a new idea or experience (good or bad), he give it here. Other members can to learn it too. If anybody asked about anything, no one, but everyone who can to help him, are writing a comments with an advices. I love it! No one has laughing me for my English (except my Bear adventure). When we want to help each other, we have to help to AllTrikes web site.

  • Jozinko

How would I know about the Megafauna Fly-Away 2014 in Australia, on the other side of the world? Who inspired me to participation in this adventure? The ALLTRIKES members! I thank you them soo much!

  • Admin

Wow, thank you thank you guys & gals !!!

I've met many many people in real life due to Alltrikes, and there are many others that I talk to regularly as good friends but have not met in person yet.  That's one of the biggest things AT does for me.  The other is the flying get togethers-- though related to the first, the fly-ins and adventures themselves have been great!  The camaraderie and learning is always there as well.

Those of you who haven't used AT to reach out to pilots around you in person yet should really take he time to do so.  Very very much worth the little effort required to do so.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about the armchair flying-- when I'm not flying, there are often adventures from pilots on here to see-  like Jozinko, Ken, Jeff-Trike, Ttabs, YFT, Christopher, Chris,  etc, etc.

Hey White Eagle......I only have the one experience with a fly-in and that was Elk River last year and I can only describe it as a wonderful experience with wonderful people......I would love to attend another.

dave g  that was a very memerable and fun time wasnt it. by the way i put up a discussion page for tom for the next elk river fly in . please feel free to post youre thoughts. its just great that we all can share and be friends. alltrikes has done a great job of bringing us all to gether in a positive way not making anyone inferior by what they fly or singleing anyone out by whats someone thinks is the best.

I like what this site represents, a chance for "all" trikes conversation. There are other social pilot sites but they are either hijacked by one trike brand or one person. I like equal representation of all.

  • Doug from Boulder Creek

I am glad for the friends and flying

Although a relatively new member here on AT, I really enjoy the sharing of stories, video, perspectives, etc.  I have made new trike pilot acquaintances that I hope to meet in person and fly with some day.  I do like the layout of the site that does read more like an electronic newspaper.  My sense is that this site would be so much more interesting and valuable if the membership would grow and if some of the very quiet members would come out of their shell and participate more.  Just think how much more interesting this site would be with a broader set of contributing members.  If every current active member would commit to try to recruit one additional new trike pilot to join AT that would really help to expand the horizons.  Now, I must be a bit unobservant but I have yet to find the "donate" button.  Maybe some one could kindly point out where that button is hiding.

  • Jozinko

hahahha, its very well hidden! In right is a blue search box. I wrote there "donate" and it showed me new page and in right is a donate button. I hope, you can understand me :)

  • XC Triker

Yeah, the donate button kinda hides.  If not logged on, it's on the right column.  If logged in, it goes away, but Jozinko is right, if you use search "donate" it's in the right column, part way down again.  But, ULT is right, more than donations, participation is needed.  So far there has never been a fight that I've seen on this site, and I think now with such a large and well behaved membership, it just won't happen ... so don't be afraid, contribute by posting things !!!

I'd  like to see more international participation as well-- "Google Translate" will change the site to wahtever language you want.  I like all the 103 participation here too, seems to be missing everywhere else.

ELECTRICS, where are you???  I'm in the market for an electric 103!!!!

  • Admin

Thanks to lots of folks that have found the hidden donate button. It's on all pages except the activity page currently due to some interfering code I need to work through. We'll get there. I've been working with our new service provider to move alltrikes to a new server. He's a trike pilot and a member here on alltrikes to boot!

Here's something excellent I "get" from AT:  Ttab Mod Shop Update  and in Tanarg Owners Forum: http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/album/42874/adding-a-second-oil-cooler-to-the-tanarg

I've posted  some things about Racor Fuel & Water Filter and etc, and there's lots of stuff on airspace and XC ...

Which reminds me, Ken built me some cool vertical grips for the base tube, not sure if Kim (@flying leap) had some first or not, but when I flew his Skypper, I noticed he moved his PTT to the vertical grip--  I did the same, very cool, perfect out of the way, but in the perfect spot for use !!!  Cool custom handl...  http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/image/47697/ptt-on-vertical-grip

    Equipment reviews Like This (http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/image/19435/liquid-containment-bag-from-alaskan-bushwheel)

Awesome formation photos and  techniques from across the glode like this for landing crosswind:   http://alltrikes.com/elgg/photos/image/21766/looking-good-again

  • XC Triker

What have you got from AllTrikes?  and what have you posted?  If you've enjoyed AT at some point, return the favor to us all and post something!!! ;)

  • ULtrikepilot

Thanks Jozinko for pointing out how to find the donate button through a search on "donate" which I had not yet attempted.  Hey I can understand you very well.  I am very impressed with your very good ability to communicate in english. Please do not ask me to reciprocate and communicate in your native language as I would fail miserably.  I grew up in Central America so english and spanish is my limit.

XC, speaking of quirks on this site, you might consider taking a survey or solicit input on improvements to the AT software for next major upgrade.  Personally, I have found the email capabilities within AT to be rather clumsy.  For example, I don't think I have yet been successful in sending a personal email to another member on AT.  Don't seem to have any way to find or list another members name to go in the "to" field.  Not every member chooses to list their own personal email account in their profile so how does one go about making a personal (nonpublic) contact with that member?  Purging the email which builds up is also painfully slow 1 at a time.  In any case, members here might have their own "wish list" of improvements for a future version too.

Regarding membership that is one area where I think growth could help.  Yes, I recognize that AT may only have been up and running a bit over a year and in time it will grow.  But it seems to me that even now we still only have a relatively small number of members here and even a smaller fraction of those that are members that are "active".  I am sure that of the global trike pilot community (not a very large population) we really have a very small fraction on AT.   I would bet that every member here knows of at least 1 or 2 trike pilot friends that are not presently members on AT.  If that is true, then my challenge for every AT member to commit to recruiting another trike pilot should not be a big effort or viewed as an unreasonably request.  I also recognize that there are many very experienced and knowledgeable trike pilots out there that are not really into the social media scene or do not really have the time to contribute actively on a site like this.  Even so I think there are many out there that would join and would contribute to content and make it much more interesting here on AT.

  • XC Triker

I've invited many to AT-- but QUALITY is way more important than Quantity ;)  The site has carefully built an excellent membership to almost 300!!  While there are some meanies on other sites I would never want to see here- so it's great that other sites exist ;).

When I want to personally email someone from AT, I send them a message here and exchange "real" email addresses-- that's nearly the limits of this email system.  As I understand it, AT is built on the ELGG platform-- just like RV manufacturers build on a Chevy, Ford or Freightliner platform, some of the base is written in stone (by the frame builders- you just  can't get a Ford engine with an Allison transmission), the rest of the dressing is up to the site itself ...

AT is an excellent website "forum" for all of us.    Great social media and feedbacks and discussions.  I loved that.  Also I got several supports regarding my past accident.   I like the part such as CSI and repair shop ideas.
