Boeing 777 crashed on landing at SFO a couple hours ago. Looks like pilot undershot approach (over water) then tried to pull up to runway-- tail section struck rocks at edge of bay and broke off. Most passengers escaped on slides, then plane caught fire. Sad

Thanks Bill, I think ;) I actually flew a lot slower this time, not in as big a rush to get places, and most of the trikes I was with had slower speeds. At times I was burning 2 gallons or less per hour-- No that's bang for the buck!!! Those poor GA guys burning 12-18/hr at $6 per --- Sheesh!!

XC, you must have had some head winds in that 23 hrs so you had time to do all that math ;-)

We had a great week of flying. Over 23 hours of flying, much of it XC (for me that's a big week-- if I did that 52 weeks per year, it would be ~1200 hours of flying per year ... Oh, well, like I told Henry, that would be $10K in gas, and half the TBO of the 912 !! :0
