Thank you Joz. I have not done much beach flying but yes there is some thing special about playing around in the coastal breezes. thanks again. Hope all is well with you and your family.
Of course your right. I was assuming he was having trouble defining the thermals without power. Made no sense . So that tells me that the lift was light! So i bet 2 up on a good day specking out would be effortless. Speed brakes to get down nice.pulled my soaring trike out yesterday .i think ill take your advice on the polini, just a great engine. Ive never seen a centrifical prop fold forward like that hmmmm more drag less drag compared to rear springing hmmmm ? I bet that atos vx is just a real hoot to fly. Would be just great teaching someone the challenging art of chasing lift?
Well if I recall correctly, Toni worked for AIR (company that makes ATOS wings) so I think there was some marketing intent with this video. If I were to buy an ATOS, I think the speed brakes would be a requirement. A big benefit of that fold forward prop is that you can get better thrust moving the prop further back.
Speed brakes definatly joe. I sure as hell wouldnt want to fight gettin that wing down on a windy day
Thanks for comment Rick. W.E. I sent you private email with video link. Admin this is great news. If you need assistance testing out some of the video related changes let me know. I am sure there may be at least a few members here that are willing to help out to get this upgrade done.
