Sweet Dean, What are you doing with the old tank? What is your 503 fuel burn now that it has been on a while? I burn thru 5 gal. in 1hr 25min. with my dual carb 503. Did you get the filler neck from Kamron or a marine supply house?

hey ted if you want the old tank e mail me.503 single carb gets about 2.5 gallon per hour at 4800 could be up to 3 gal at 5200.filler  neck is fron a place called tanks on the web drill a hole and it mounts were you want it tank in from air tec in lousiana

Wow that a great fuel burn, Depending on wich wing 3 gal @ 5200 is about where I am and cruising 55. If there is any texture to the air It's more like 60 @ 5800 and 3.5 gal. I will search for the filler neck hardware.

flying the maverick 3 wing cruise is 40 to 45.if i want to keep up with the pack bar back 50 or so and step on the gas 5200 i would love the pacer wing but i think it would take more rpm to keep my fat ass aloft.what 2 place wing have you tryed on the maverick?does the 503 have enough punch to fly easily

I am flying 650-700 depending if I carry an extra 5 gal and love the Pacer but have been flying the Contour lately after putting 30 hrs on the Manta 12H. Two extremes one small wing that really needs the r's and the big Contour snapping me off the runway. I like the handling of the Pacer best but nothing beats sail area for short take-off. Course if you just want some fun the Manta has it for around the patch smokin' it in.

I also used fuel injection barricade hose instead of the blue bing stuff. It was only 1 season old and already soft when i cut it it stuck together. All the new stuff out of northwing has the fuel injection hose on it should hold up better to uv and ethanol.also you can use regular clamps on it instead of saftey wire

O No, no more seasonal fuel line replacement? Is it clear or transparent so you can see the fuel? I tend to go for the clear one(no tint)it works for pulse line too, I was thinking of stocking up on the yellow for this seasons fuel line replacement. Might be nice to try something new? I have been using fuel line zip ties, I get them from a marine supply house.

You cant see thru it its like regular fuel hose but has a barricate inside gates makes it or maybe others as well.its spendy 3.50 a foot thats in canada probably less in the us i will try to get a picture of it
