Amazing, The eagle is just telling the Hang Glider the superiority order :)

Looks like maybe he is giving the glider a little extra lift.

It's a great photo!  Thanks Janet.  I bet he was young and not sure how to attack yet-- sea eagles and wedgies in Oz are big enough and territorial enough to claw at gliders (and put some holes in them).  Maybe this one will learn how to ride instead!!  ;)

I was flying in Mexico with Free Holy Ole I heard about a guy flying along some sea cliffs in Mexico and all the cliff birds started diving off the cliff / scattering-- they all flew around the trike and prop with no probs.  It was amazing.  Also in the bird Migration projects they found that the shroud around the prop was not necessary.  Speaking of which, if you get the chance to watch Winged Migration-- do it, it is SPELL BINDING (and then, even cooler I think) is the "making of" section of the DVD. (I entered the Amazon link for you ;) only $9)

Our 100th member "FreeBird" was part of that project!!!  Amazing guy.  Also flew a float trike as a spotter plane in some episodes of "Whale Wars"  Wow!   Does anyone have any links to footage?  Please post.
