Have you ever dreamed of flying in wild Alaska? Many pilots put this state on their aviation bucket list. Join Flight Training Editor Ian Twombly and Technical Editor Jill W. Tallman on Tuesday, May 7, at 3 p.m. Eastern for the monthly Flight Training Facebook chat. Our guest chatter will be Kathy Dondzila, who flew with bush pilots above the Arctic Circle. Go to theweb page to set an email reminder.

Henry & I decided to not go to Alaska this summer-- but we learned a lot in the process and it is still on our bucket list. The latest plan included about 3 weeks of driving to Anchorage, then a week of flying (if weather OK) and 3 more weeks of driving home-- in the end it seemed a bit much, especially without the wife and dogs ... only Henry to cook for us ... ;)
We ARE going (wife and dogs included) to Elk River though- I'm helping her drive this year ;)
Sounds great! ;) I'll eat it
