Here’s a visual of where we can start with parking the RV’s.  I’ve put a pin in the area to park them as well as described the location in my video  As usual, please park in a fashion that makes efficient sense so others can get in as well.  I should be flying in late Sat morning but of course give me a call if you have any questions or issues.  There’s plenty of room for the early arrivals and/or late stays.

I’ve set up a Navigation point below for you to download.  My email list is very informal so please forward this info on to anyone who may be interested or is planning on attending.   Call me if you have any questions!  Otherwise, see you in a few weeks!

New Updates from @Ttabs on this year's PNW flyin

  • Ken

We had an excellent week in Winthrop WA flying all over the place.  The winds seemed to be our only obstacle as they’d start to fester up mid day and blow into the evenings.  This limited our flying to the morning hours only, but the winds at 9K over the ridge tops seemed nearly none-existent for most of our am flights.  This made Mt Baker reachable - about 80 miles to the west.  George and I logged in nearly 18 hours of flight time and had fun spotting the mountain climbers on various mountains.  We had 4 trikes and a kitfox make the event despite all the challenges.

As I try to unpack from this trip, I’m already looking ahead to next years fly-in (where ever that will be).  Until then, blue skies!

Well I was a bit bummed that I was unable to make it this year.  First miss in 7 years.  Simply to much going on with a recent move from east coast to CO.  In the video Tom mentioned only 4 trikes (plus Clyde with his kitfox) showed up so definitely a light showing this year.  Am hoping that I will be able to make it next year.

I was bummed as well. I think I have been to most of these events and always had a blast. Hoping next year as well! Love Colorado - awesome choice.
